A Sick Pet Appointment: What to Expect
If your pet needs to be seen for a sick visit, our goal is to provide thorough and efficient care. During your visit, one of our experienced veterinarians will perform a comprehensive physical exam to assess your pet’s condition. We will also discuss their symptoms and medical history to gather as much information as possible.
Our in-house diagnostic tools, including digital X-rays and ultrasound, allow us to quickly identify underlying issues without delays. After evaluating your pet, we will discuss an appropriate treatment plan, which may include medication, further testing, and/or ongoing monitoring.

We will treat pets for a variety of health conditions that they may face.
These include:
- Ear infections
- Vomiting or diarrhea that persists beyond 24 hours
- Signs of thyroid or adrenal gland issues, such as weight changes or lethargy
- Skin problems, including hot spots, rashes, lumps, or excessive itching
- Symptoms of allergies, such as constant licking or red, inflamed skin
- Arthritis-related pain or mobility issues
- Concerns about cancer, including unusual growths or unexplained weight loss
- Diabetes symptoms, such as increased thirst or urination
- Seizures or other neurological concerns
- Minor wounds
This is not a complete list of the conditions we treat. If you are unsure whether we can address your pet’s symptoms, we encourage you to give us a call. Our team is happy to answer your questions and help determine the next steps for your pet’s care.
